Acantilado Los Gigantes
The Arch of Tajao is a curious natural formation of volcanic tuff fruit of erosion, a stone bridge 30 meters long and 10 meters high. A very photogenic corner that you have "just a stone's throw away", since it is next to the southern highway.
So you know, in your next adventure to the south of the island make a stop in Tajao!
To visit Playa Amarilla is to enter one of the most curious landscapes of the Island. You will be impressed to see the capricious shapes that the waves of the sea have carved into the yellow rock in this mountain, declared a Natural Monument for its extraordinary beauty.
The waters are so clear that you'll regret it if you don't wear snorkeling or scuba diving goggles. It is very common to see groups of people and dive clubs doing dives in the area.
Monte del Agua
Situated between the municipalities of El Tanque, Los Silos and Buenavista del Norte, in the north of Tenerife, this comfortable route runs almost completely by forest track to connect the rural nuclei of Erjos and Las Portelas. The path crosses Monte del Agua y Pasos, a wide forest of Monteverde with laurisilva and fayal-brezal. During the tour you can see two types of pigeons endemic to the Canary Islands, the rabiche and the turquoise. There are also interesting examples of traditional architecture with tile houses and stone walls.
